Dr. Velez has been trained and certified in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). He is also a graduate of the CIIS Psychedelic Assisted Therapies and Research program. This training and subsequent experiences have given him the ability to help patients evaluate their psychedelic, TMS, and other therapy options. Dr. Velez has an interest in TMS as an effective, non-pharmaceutical treatment for depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and other neurological and psychiatric conditions.

Dr. Velez is able to provide a safe environment to discuss mental health symptoms and past treatment history to help determine the best course of action.

Dr. Velez is a firm believer in gathering in depth knowledge from the patient, and with permission from other sources, providing the ability to synthesize comprehensive information to determine an appropriate diagnosis and collaboratively works with his patients to develop a complete treatment plan.

Dr. Velez has a passion for helping people, including finding ways to recover from depression and other psychiatric conditions.
